There are few other places I would rather be, in early spring, then in an ancient woodland whose floor is carpeted with the white, nodding heads of wood anemones. These are the true harbingers of spring, a sure sign of longer, warmer days ahead.

A workshop with a difference where all that is required is a camera and a willingness to open your mind to new, creative possibilities. The North Kent Marshes has been my ‘home’ for over quarter of a century and in this workshop intentional camera movement will feature heavily in order to produce impressionist-style images of this unique landscape. Just 6 places are available ensuring plenty of individual tuition.

This is a full-day workshop for 3 persons only ensuring lots of individual tuition and the pick of the best spots, and specimens!

Ever since I first picked up a camera some 30 years ago, close-up photography has fascinated me. To record the world around me that many would, idly, walk by and take very little notice of. It’s only when you get down and look closely that you can fully appreciate the breathtaking beauty of, say, a ladybird, the eye of a dragonfly or stamens of a delicate wood anemone.
