Yesterday morning was glorious here in north Kent so a pre-breakfast amble with just the Nikon D850 and 50mm f/1.4 was in order along a familiar quiet country lane. No kit bag or tripod, I just wanted to enjoy the experience of being in the moment. That's the best way I find; not to be too focused on making photos but to allow your mind to wander. I tend to see much more that way. The air was crisp and still, sunlight glanced off verge-side flowers and blackcap, robin, wren, lesser whitethroat and song thrush were in full song. Anyone would think that it was spring!
