Recently, I was notified that I had won the landscape category in the BioPhotoContest 2020. I don't enter many competitions and so I was particularly pleased to be awarded in a competition I have followed over the years and whose jury is made up of internationally recognised nature photographers. The overall winner (selected from the 6 category winners) will be announced at the BioPhoto Festival, in Italy, at the end of September which I have been invited to but, of course, I shall have to see how the land lies whether I attend or not. Taken on my Senja tour in 2018 it shows luminous algae fringing a rockpool at dusk.
