"For more than 30 years, I’ve been photographing the remarkable landscapes and wildlife of Elmley Nature Reserve. What began as occasional visits with a camera grew into a lasting connection with a place whose vast skies, shifting seasons, and extraordinary wildlife have profoundly shaped my life - both personally and as a photographer.

Over the decades, I’ve watched countless dawns break over the marsh, seen the reserve transform through winter floods and summer light, and experienced remarkable encounters with the many species that make Elmley so special. These images are the result of years of patience, repeated visits, and a deep affection for this landscape.

I’m thrilled to finally bring this work together in a single volume that captures not only the wildlife but also the atmosphere, beauty, and sense of space that make Elmley such a remarkable place."
