Having recently purchased an 80mm lens for my Hasselblad 501c/m, I quickly realised that it wasn't possible to attach a cable release when using the Lee Filters system since it's impaired by the holder which lies closer to the body than, say, my 120mm. Google must have the answer, I thought, since there must be lots of Hasselblad users who have encountered the same problem. This led me to the following post regarding this very issue by esteemed photographer, Bruce Percy.
"If you have a Hasselblad V series (500 series) camera, and like me, find that you cannot get a cable release that will fit the body when using a short lens (such as the 80mm), then I thought it would be nice to let you know that it's possible to get either an L or U shaped adaptor from this company: https://gebr-schreck.com/en/adapter/".
Although you can, indeed, purchase it from this company, those in the UK can also do so from Linhof Studio, here. I have the small L version which works very nicely.
