A few months ago, I was contacted by Jen Bernard Interiors to create a series of commissioned photographs for a new luxury retirement home. The brief was both specific and refreshingly open-ended, whereby rather than prescribing a particular style, they simply highlighted three locations they wanted me to focus on, with one of them being Great Comp Garden.
After securing permission from the estate’s wonderfully welcoming and accommodating staff - who I genuinely can’t praise highly enough - I visited on a particularly dull and chilly afternoon last week. I was met by staff member Kristyna, who very kindly guided me around the gardens and shared her knowledge of the estate.
This episode was made during my second morning session. I'm hoping to return at least twice more, most likely in the evening, to capture a different atmosphere and provide Jen Bernard Interiors with as broad and varied a selection as possible.
