A while ago I was approached by Amateur Photographer asking if I would like to contribute articles to the magazine. One of the features they regularly run is called Photo Insight which concentrates on the story behind the image as opposed to it being purely technical. This really appealed to me since (and I'm sure I speak for many here) the process leading up to its execution interests me far more than all the technical information. The photographic process is more than just apertures, shutter speeds and ISOs and it is this that motivated me more than a year ago to produce my ebook: The Backstory - Creative Close-Ups.
Amongst other articles for AP I've been asked to write more Photo Insight pieces which will be appearing over the coming months.
