Podcast ep.4 photos

Thursday 9th May 2024

In this episode, I'm once again on the Kent marshes. I recently purchased a new handheld light meter to work with my Hasselblad and since I have also started using a new film developer (HC-110), in order to ascertain the box-speed of my chosen film stock - Ilford FP4 - I'm having to run a few tests before committing to 'proper' photos.

A couple of images to accompany the concluding section of the podcast. It was a beautiful morning on the marsh where the calls of lapwing, redshank, oystercatcher and skylark filled the air. If only May would last longer! I did manage to get a few really nice flight photos of redshank, but as some of you might know, I'm currently in the process of producing a book on Elmley Nature Reserve so I'm keen to hold back any potential inclusions. Sorry!
