No consistency, Canis! Nothing for ages, and then along come two podcasts within 3 weeks! Make the most of it; it's unlikely to continue!
It wasn't planned (I had to use my phone as I didn't have my recording device, but I think it sounds OK); the intention was merely to pop into the woods for a walk with my camera, but upon seeing all the wood anemones and butterflies, I just couldn't resist! Furthermore, I thought it would be an interesting exercise to show you the images and comparisons that I was discussing.
Each example shows the same in terms of the aperture used, with the first of each at f/2.8 and the other at f/8. The differences are subtle though still noticeable. The very last is my personal favourite, taken at f/8, where the centre's crisp and defined, yet the depth of field is still sufficiently shallow.
