I'm going to be in the Yorkshire Dales at the end of October hopefully running a workshop, and since I live in the southeast and the Peak District is on the way I thought I'll run a workshop there, too!
I've been visiting the Peak District National Park for 13 years, now, and running workshops in the Dark Peak (north) region for 10. For several years they were one-day workshops and then I moved onto 2-days which were held each summer and autumn. But now, given restrictions and social distancing measures I have decided to hold a one-day workshop, again, whereby I have reduced the group number from 6 to 5 and chosen two locations where everyone can easily drive themselves to.
Visiting both a wooded gorge with waterfalls and gritstone edges we should expect the colours to be at their splendorous best. Innumerable opportunities await from long-exposure images of waterfalls and close-ups of fallen leaves to sweeping landscapes of stone-walled valleys.
Since I'll be on my way home, so to speak, and only require two nights' accommodation I have been able to significantly reduce the price.
I can't stress enough just how much I have missed running workshops and tours with the inevitable good-natured banter and exchange of ideas that they present and with everything crossed October and November's offerings can't come soon enough. I hope to see you there!
