It's only natural, given the current situation, to look back upon those things we were doing this time last year. I don't feel that I am being over sentimental, simply that I yearn for a return to the life (and freedom) I had prior to the pandemic. 
By a long way, autumn and winter are my busiest months so it's been very strange being at home and not traveling.
However (and there is nearly always a however!), it has given me the opportunity to take stock and to consider the direction of my photography. Under normal circumstances, and given time constraints, I dare say that if this hadn't happened it is very unlikely that I would have returned to film and thoroughly enjoyed all that this medium has to offer.
But, most of all I am missing being in the company of good friends. Here's to 2022 - hopefully!
