Recently, I've been re-processing and captioning many of my website photographs and have just released a new gallery on the Yorkshire Dales. Sifting through all the images that I have accumulated during the course of numerous trips in both summer and autumn is always a difficult task of which ones to include and leave out (we photographers are terrible critics when it comes to assessing our own work) but it is one which I enjoy for it brings back wonderful memories not just of a beautiful county but of those photography workshop attendees that make each visit so special.
I'll be returning with a small group of just three (we'll be driving ourselves to the locations) this coming June and with all that is happening I simply cannot wait to meet them and enjoy a few days of photography, tuition, and laughs.
No matter how often I visit I always enjoy attempting to interpret the scene in new and fresh ways.
A landscape photography workshop to the Yorkshire Dales just wouldn't be complete without a trip to Swaledale photographing its many barns, stone walls and waterfalls.
