I was both humbled and immensely grateful to David (chairman of the Mid-Sussex Camera Club) for sending me the comments, below, following my Macro and Creative Close-Ups Zoom presentation yesterday evening. Blowing my own trumpet goes somewhat against the grain (it's a Brit thing!) but given the relatively recent popularity of such talks, I thought it would be a nice thing to share.
"I realised from the start when you spoke about the difference between Macro as a record shot and Macro as a creative act, that this was something I have been missing. It will change my whole approach to macro. This despite being very much a beginner in this field"!
